Asher is becoming everyone’s favorite over here 🙂
9:30am – Phone Call
Dr Lipsky is very happy with Asher’s progress! Today’s her day off, but she said she has to come in now because Asher’s like her private patient 😀
The CO2 for his last ABG draw was 59. It’s a little higher because of the weaning (see yesterday’s post for how that works)…
He’s back up to 3mL/hr feeds without the fortification…
They’ll add it once he gets back up to full volume…
He still has the TPN drip, but will be coming off that as well once he’s back up to full feed volume…
Asher’s also getting pretty good and grabbing his pacifier when it falls out and putting it back in his mouth… he likes it 😍

11:27am – Hospital
This is our third day with nurse Amanda. She’s pretty awesome and has a good working relationship with Kelly…
We’re hoping we can have her as Asher’s daytime primary nurse…
Aaaaaaaaaaand today is my day to hold him 😬😬
Hopefully he cooperates a little better than he did yesterday with mom 🤦🏻♂️😂

Asher is so adorable and his little cry is the sweetest. I love how he snuggles right into daddy. Praise God for Asher’s continued healing. 🙏🏻🙏🏻💙💙
So proud of you Asher. You are doing so well. Snuggle up nice and tight with mommy and daddy. Your hair is growing longer. You have more hair than your dad. Really a gnat has more hair than your dad. Love you so much.
