After wrapping up day 113 in the NICU, Asher has finally made it home!!

He’s sleeping SO MUCH BETTER now that he’s off the hospital schedule. His feeding volume hasn’t changed and his cares are now the moment he needs it (he’s got a really bad diaper rash that we’ve been trying to get rid of)…

The first night was a little rough, but Asher did really well. The hardest part of sleeping at night is the alarm on the monitors. Most of the time they go off because of errors 🥴 #teamnosleep

Asher’s Grad Night zoom call this afternoon was amazing! We’ve been blessed with so many beautiful people in our family and circle of friends…

Day 3 Of Being Home

We had our first Dr appointment with Asher’s pediatrician early this morning. Dr says he looks great!!

He weighed in this morning at 6lbs 10oz. Nothing like a packing on a quick 10oz 😂

He’ll see Dr Mendoza (pediatrician) for his second visit in a couple of weeks…

Appointments with Dr Wickens (retina specialist) and Dr Nakamura (pulmonologist) have been booked. We’ll book with Dr Bragg and the rest tomorrow (6-7 doctors in total)…

We had our first visit with Careousel Pediatrics right after Asher’s Dr appointment this morning. They’ll be providing in home care, including but not limited to occupational therapy, speech therapy, physical therapy, twice weekly nurse visits, all prescriptions delivered to our house, diapers, formula, 24 hour nurse on call, etc…

Talk about a Godsend…

Now to figure out systems for our new life…

In all things, God is good…
